How to play Pyramid Solitaire
- Only uncovered cards can be removed. Both cards directly below a pyramid card must be removed before it becomes available.
- Pair two available cards totaling 13. Ace is 1, Jack is 11 and Queen is 12. A King is 13 and can be removed alone.
- Pair cards on the tableau or use the top waste card. Click cards or drag a card onto its partner.
- Draw one stock card at a time. There is one pass through the stock, with no recycling.
- Clear the pyramid to win; unused stock and waste cards may remain.

Tips for your next game
Study the pyramid before drawing. Look for pairs that uncover both sides of a covered card, and remove available Kings to open space. If an exposed card has more than one possible partner, consider which pair reveals the next useful card. Keep track of the cards you pass in the stock: there is no recycle after the last draw. Undo lets you compare another order, but hints only show legal actions and do not guarantee a win.

Frequently asked questions
Which cards add up to 13?
Ace pairs with Queen, Two with Jack, Three with Ten, Four with Nine, Five with Eight, and Six with Seven. A King is worth 13 and is removed alone. Suits and colors do not matter.
Why can I not remove a pyramid card?
A card is available only after both cards directly below it have been removed. You cannot pair a covered card with a card covering it.
Can I recycle the stock?
No. This version allows one pass, drawing one card at a time. The top waste card can pair with an exposed pyramid card, and removing it exposes the waste card underneath. Use undo to explore another sequence.
Must every card be removed?
Only the 28 pyramid cards need to be removed to win. Stock and waste cards may remain. Random deals are not guaranteed to be solvable; daily challenges are verified by replaying a winning solution.
